About this event

From Google Analytics to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, we have more and more data at our fingertips, and less and less time to do anything with it! If you're an arts & culture professional curious about the 'data' side of life, this session is for you.

Our team have been busy mining the best available datasets for juicy insight about Australian community attitudes, creative careers, arts participation, funding and impact.
We have done the hard yards so you don't have to spend hours sifting through research reports or learning advanced Excel.

Help yourself to wine and cheese, and prepare to be entertained, enthralled and excited about numbers, as our resident arts research specialists Tandi Williams and Brooke Boyce uncover the top statistical trends that arts, culture & creative professionals NEED to know.

Who would benefit

  • Arts & culture workers from theatre, dance, visual art, music, literature, screen, community arts, and the wider creative industries.

  • Those with a thirst for information and insight, with zero time for learning Advanced Excel.

Take aways

  • Get up to speed on the key trends shaping culture & creativity

  • Indulge your inner geek and learn an easy way to interpret complex information

  • Find out about great data sources you can use

  • Chat with likeminded souls about where the arts & culture sector is heading

  • Walk away with a mini arsenal of useful facts and figures - that you can use to strengthen your work (and impress your colleagues).
