About this event

By now, the whole world knows that data is the new oil, and big corporations are growing their analytics capabilities faster than you can say 'Google'.

But what does true insight look like in a cultural organisation? What research, evaluation and data analysis should we be prioritising? Is there a way to use data that is smart, ethical AND creative?

Over coffee we take a look at best practice in creative contexts, and share the five ‘I’s of insightful cultural institutions.

You’ll leave with top tips and practical advice that you can take away and apply in your own workplace.

We believe in the power of insight to help good causes change the world. No matter what stage you're at, we have some ideas that will make you excited about data again.

Who would benefit

  • Arts and cultural organisations like museums, galleries, performing arts producers, venues and arts centres, peak bodies, services organisations and government agencies

  • CEOs, Directors and Managers delivering important and promising programs, who want to reach more people, secure funding and deliver even more impact in the world

  • Those who want to help strengthen their organisation's approach to data analysis, research and evaluation.
